The Big Pink

Last Night me and Federica went to see The Big Pink, in true Teenage gig style we made the pilgrimage to the front of the stage!...I decided for once not to bring my camera and just enjoy the gig with my eyes (if I have my cam then i see most of the gig through the lens!)

So it was safe to say that it was the best gig of the year so far for me! Was Epic!

Lo-fi Girl group that sound like they have come outta the 60s ? Nice!

Remember ...sometimes its not about hooks....Sometimes it about how a song makes you feel or an atmosphere they create....

This bands myspace remind me of lost tapes of years gone...
Leaves me feeling happy and nostalgic...!

France.....

As i have found 3 great bands this week thought I'd let you into another little secret -

France and The Habsburgs

The band have clear influence from The Fall and a hint of ian curtis in the vocal...They hail from Sunderland and the music has a dark industrial city vibe....they are great and my favorite track is Photographic heart...Once you have a listen to this gem you will be back for more.....

Just be East Coasting....

Ok so Federica was browsing the net, for new bands and she came across this - COASTING ....So had a listen and fell in love been a while since i came across a new band and in the last week i found 3! ......

STOP...I'll just dance the way i feel!

Ok, so these guys have been around for a while, but i only really just started to listen and i have had the new single "Dance the way i feel" on repeat...They make me feel really young again...so enjoy!

Will be your new favourite band, and they are most certainly mine, it took a couple of listens and then I was hooked!
